One to three field days are generally implemented for every crop cycle on demonstration farms. Our local technical advisors invite farmers from the area to learn, review and discuss the improved techniques applied. It is an open, informal event where cost and return analysis provides a major incentive for change, alongside the promoted practices.
Held at the fields of key farmers, field days are an opportunity to exchange knowledge and ask each other, and our trainers, questions concerning anything they see in the field. The location rotates from farm to farm, giving all available farmers in the area the opportunity to observe any differences and similarities, as well as increase their skills and knowledge.
